Please note that additional information could be posted on this webpage during the publication stage. Consequently, we encourage you to visit this page regularly.
This call for proposals relates to the Hercule II Grant Programme, "Training in the area of the fight against fraud". The Hercule II annual work programme for 2013 which combines the priorities as well as the resources available for 2013 was adopted on 7 February 2013- C (2013) 612 final 7.2.2013. It relates to line 24.02.01 of the General Budget of the European Union for 2013.
The aim is to support training activities which contribute in a preventive and/or operational way to combating fraud detrimental to the financial interests of the European Union. In order to avoid ineligible applications (e.g. applications dealing with insurance fraud), please note that the applications have to target funding for actions to combat fraud affecting the EU's financial interests.
The Commission has adopted in 2011 a Commission Anti-Fraud Strategy (COM (2011) 376 final) which emphasises the importance of fraud prevention and detection. It also includes an EU Easter border action plan.
OLAF is particularly interested in proposals promoting concrete fraud prevention and detection measures, targeting exchanges of best practices (including on fraud risk assessment) or contributing to fraud awareness raising.
Please be aware that only one proposal per applicant is accepted under this call.
