The UNICEF guidelines on Protection of the Rights of Child Victims of Trafficking set out standards for good practice with respect to protection of and assistance to trafficked children. The aim of these guidelines is to assist governments and State actors, international organisations and non-governmental organisations or other service providers as a platform for developing policies and practices, at the national, bilateral and international levels. The guidelines are based on international human rights instruments and describe standards for the protection of trafficked children from identification through the recovery and integration.
