The document provides an overview of the mandates of the member organisations of the Inter-Agency Coordination Group against Trafficking in Persons (ICAT).
These organisations collectively represent the relevant United Nations agencies and other international organizations involved in combating human trafficking. It also provides, from key agencies, an analytical review of where the international community now stands 10 years on from the adoption of the Trafficking Protocol and a view to the future with the proposal by particular agencies of concrete recommendations for future action.
These recommendations are directed to multiple actors, including the international organisations themselves, but their key targeted audience are the Member States of the United Nations.
