United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime (UNODC) /Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), 2010, 192 pages

The report shows the institutionalised mechanisms and work practices that provide support and assistance to trafficked persons in the 11 CBSS Member States (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, the Russian Federation and Sweden). It identifies shortcomings and obstacles to effective cooperation and formulates recommendations for improved cooperation at national and regional level.

- Part 1 of this study presents information about cooperation mechanisms and practices related to victims' protection and assistance measures and comparing data from the Member States.

- Part 2 comprises country profiles for each of the CBSS Member States. Each country profile contains a brief summary highlighting recently introduced measures, forthcoming measures, and focus areas, i.e. areas that have been identified as deserving attention by stakeholders surveyed and interviewed in the country.
