The Nordic Ministers for Gender Equality (MR-JÄM) commissioned the Nordic Gender Institute (NIKK) to carry out a research project to focus on the Nordic countries’ differences and similarities in devising prostitution policies. The aim of the project was to describe, illustrate and analyze the state of prostitution and human trafficking for sexual purposes in the Nordic countries today. This report presents and discusses the main results from the research project.
