The “Nordic-Baltic Pilot Project” was a pilot project involving NGOs and government agencies aimed to strengthen cooperation and to develop concrete activities to support and assist women victims of trafficking in all eight participating countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden.
The Nordic-Baltic Project was co-ordinated by the European Women’s Lobby, by appointment of the Nordic-Baltic Taskforce against trafficking in human beings. The pilot phase of the project was funded by the Nordic countries over a three-year period (2005-2008).
