The Guiding Principles are intended to serve as a practical tool for counter-trafficking experts - from law enforcement agencies to specialised service providers, NGO's, trade unions, the judiciary, the prosecution services and faith-based organisations – when developing common agreements.
The Guiding Principles consist of two sections. The first one covers cooperation between law enforcement agencies and specialised service providers, and details of cooperation procedures. The second one includes a checklist that outlines the cooperation procedures for each identified stakeholder.
