World Declaration on the Survival, Protection and Development of Children (1990)
The World Declaration on the Survival, Protection and Development of Children, agreed at the World Summit for Children on 29-30 September 1990, stresses the joint commitment to give every child a better future. The participants committed themselves to a 10-point programme to protect the rights of children and to improve their lives. It was also decided to adopt and implement a Plan of Action.
