The National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings is partner of the National Agency against Trafficking in Persons, Romania, as beneficiary in the project"Integrated Approach for Prevention of Labour Exploitation in Origin and Destination countries", funded by the Directorate General Home Affairs of the European Commission. The duration of the project is 36 months, from February 2011 with deadline for completion August 2013.
In the framework of the project, an International conference for Facilitating Experience Exchange on Trafficking in Human Beings for Forced Labour will be organised in Bucharest, Romania (14th-15th May).
Mrs. Myria Vassiliadou- EU Anti-trafficking Coordinator, Mrs. Maria Grazia Giammarinaro- OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, Mr. Romulus- Nicolae Ungureanu- Director of the Romanian National Agency against Trafficking in Persons, representatives from Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and for the Elderly and project partners will participate in the conference.
Mrs. Emilia Paunova, Senior expert from the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings will take part in the International Conference and will present the Annual campaign for prevention of trafficking in human beings for the purpose of labour exploitation: "Zero Tolerance to Trafficking in Human Beings for the Purpose of Labour Exploitation: Joint Campaign with Manpower and A21 for Prevention of THB for Labour Exploitation in Bulgaria (January-May 2013)".
