Objectives and results
The objective of the NETINFO project is to support action to prevent trafficking in human beings, to protect its victims and to prosecute offenders.
The aim is to set up investigation mechanisms that enable the authorities to carry out surveillance and to detect, identify, locate and monitor human trafficking. Moreover, a set of guidelines should be drawn up on how national law enforcement services and judicial authorities can best cooperate and coordinate their work investigating and prosecuting traffickers and supporting the victims.
The most modern communication tools should be used including Galileo and the TETRAPOL network. Two training courses will be provided specifically on the communication technologies.
