Objectives and results
On the basis of the comprehensive Protection Act and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the aim was to develop social networks and improve the capacity of judicial authorities in relation to sexual violence, exploitation and trafficking.
The National Assembly Youth of Guatemala (ANJG) network was closely involved through its members as well as the Social Movement for the Rights of Children, Adolescents and Youth (MADNAJ).
Capacity building actions focused on the issue of violation of children rights and prosecution of offenders. Several training sessions were held for 500 social workers and judges and prosecutors.
