    Objectives and results

    The objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the Brazilian Federal Government to better manage migratory flows, focusing on assistance and labour integration of vulnerable groups, such as returnees, migrants and actual and potential victims of trafficking.

    This general objective can be subdivided into three distinct specific objectives: 

    1. To strengthen cooperation between Brazil and EU Member States in view of transferring skills, capacities and resources;
    2. To strengthen the capacity of the Brazilian Federal Government to develop policies and programmes targeting Brazilian returnees, labour migrants and victims of trafficking;
    3. To foster links between migration and development by maximising the benefits of immigrants’ and returnees’ skills and qualifications
