  • Data protection and right to privacy for marginalised groups: a new challenge in anti-trafficking policies

    KOK e.V., German NGO network against trafficking in women and violence against migrant women, launched together with La Strada International, European NGO Network against Trafficking in Human Beings, datACT a joint project on data protection in anti-trafficking responses.

    DatACT will organize a conference from 25 to 27 September 2013 in Berlin and invites experts from politics, science and the civil society.

    The conference will discuss topics regarding privacy rights and anti-trafficking responses, including national rapporteur mechanisms and the role of civil society, EU data protection developments and the rights of marginalized groups, counselling centres and the right to privacy for trafficked persons.

    The conference will provide for simultaneous translation (German-English).
