Objectives and results
This project aimed to explore the difficulties in prosecuting traffickers and protecting victims of THB for labour exploitation. It focused on identifying victims and on cooperating in the investigation and prosecution.
Research activities resulted in the drafting of five specialist country reports, analysing the legal framework, case law and relevant policies in each country. The outcomes of the project were discussed during an expert meeting and presented to a broader audience during a closing seminar.
