17 October 2013 - On the eve of the 7th EU Anti-Trafficking Day, Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström delivered a statement emphasising that Europe is working closer together to address human trafficking.

Commissioner Malmström stressed it is high time for all Member States to honour their commitment and deliver.

She further noted that "Over the past few years we have seen stronger commitments across the EU to work against trafficking in human beings.
