Recommendations on identification and referral to services of victims of trafficking in human beings

The human rights approach emphasises unconditional assistance to all victims of trafficking. However due to the complexity of the trafficking phenomenon, there is a need to better the identification of victims.
Presented on the first EU Anti-Trafficking Day in 2007, these recommendations were developed to better identify and refer victims of human trafficking to the relevant actors, in particular civil society organizations and other service providers.
