Opinion No. 5/2010
Opinion on Priority Actions in view of the revision and/or further implementation of the EU Action Plan on trafficking in human beings (2005/C311/01)
9 December 2005, 17 pages
The opinion aims to offer a strategic framework for possible amendment and further implementation of the EU Plan of 2005. The Expert group particularly highlights the need for a true 'ownership' of the Plan and a mechanism which can coordinate action/response across a number of Directorates and relate directly with Member States and EU Agencies. The Group sets out a number of measures for adoption which it believe will significantly enhance the protection of victims of THB, as well as the fight against THB.
