  • Report of the Experts Group on Trafficking in Human Beings

    This report by the EU Expert Group on Human Trafficking formulates proposals on how to implement the recommendations of the Brussels Declaration. It aims to indicate ways to strengthen EU action against trafficking in human beings and lists possibilities for new initiatives, programs and activities.  The structure of the report follows that of the Brussels Declaration with focus on prevention, victim assistance and protection.

    The report strongly recommends an integrated and multidisciplinary human rights based approach towards combating trafficking in human beings. The report contains 132 recommendations, complemented by explanatory papers.
