Existing State aid measures in the new Member States

In accordance with the procedure laid down in Point b), Chapter 3 of Annex V to the Treaty of Accession the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania communicated to the Commission within four months of the date of accession State aid measures, which these Member States wish to be regarded as existing aid until the end of third year form the date of Accession within the meaning of Article 88(1) of the EC Treaty.

Existing State aid measures as communicated by the new Member States are listed below. This publication shall in no circumstances be regarded as an official position of the Commission that these measures fulfil all the other conditions laid down either by the EC Treaty or by the Treaty of Accession, in particular that these measures were put into effect in a new Member State before the date of accession and are still applicable after.
