Seminar: The Legacy of Leader+ at local level: Building the future of rural areas
24 – 26 April 2007, Cap Corse, Nebbiù è Custera, Corse, France
This Leader+ Observatory seminar successfully demonstrated how the Leader+ initiative has, at the local level, been able to realise rural development to the benefit of both Europe's regions and their citizens. This was achieved by examining not only the tools used to implement the Leader method, but also by providing tangible results, as witnessed by those who manage innovative local development strategies as well as by selected case studies. Consequently, the seminar showed that the legacy of Leader+ provides a sound basis for building the future of Europe's rural areas.
