Call for expression of interest: Technical assistance - list of experts
The European Commission is issuing this call for expression of interest with the aim of establishing a list of communication and/or marketing experts. From this list the Commission may select, as needed, one or several experts for specific tasks related to the selection of draft proposals for information and promotion programmes for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries.
These draft proposals have been submitted by the Member States under Council Regulation (EC) N° 3/2008 in any of the 23 official languages of the European Union plus the Croatian language, in view of the accession of Croatia set on 1 July 2013.
The experts should be qualified in communication and/or marketing and also have detailed knowledge of the agro-food sector and corresponding markets and various technical promotion actions such as advertising, relations with the press, public relations, etc. to offer support and assistance in the decision-making concerning the proposed programmes, for at least one of the above-mentioned languages, moreover the knowledge of English and/or French is required for reporting purposes.
Experts must fulfil the criteria stated below, and notably in point 3, in order to be included in the list of experts from which the Commission makes its selection. Having been registered on the list of experts does not imply a legal obligation of the Commission nor any promise of actually selecting or appointing an expert or of awarding a contract to him/her.

Interested experts can submit their applications for registration on the list of experts at any time during the period of validity of the list, with the exception of the last three months of that period.
The list of selected experts shall be valid until 31 December 2015.
No applications shall be accepted after 30 September 2015, the date of the postmark being considered as proof of the date of sending.
