All citizens, organisations and public authorities who are concerned by a review of the EU regime in respect of the fruit and vegetable sector are welcome to contribute to this consultation.

Period of consultation

04/06/2012 - 09/09/2012

Objective of the consultation

Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 български (bg)czech (cs)dansk (da)Deutsch (de)eesti (et)ελληνικά (el)español (es)Français (fr)Gaeilge (ga)hrvatski (bg)italiano (it)latviešu (lv)lietuvių (lt)magyar (hu)Malti (mt)Nederlands (nl)polski (pl)português (pt)română (ro)slovenčina (sk)slovenščina (sl)suomi (fi)svenska (sv) ("Single CMO Regulation") provides in its Article 184(4) for a report on the implementation of the provisions regarding producer organisations, operational funds and operational programmes in the fruit and vegetables sector, to be presented to the European Parliament and to the Council by 31 December 2013.

In the light of experience so far drawn from the 2007 reform, emerging challenges and the CAP 2020 proposals, it is appropriate to advance the analysis of the current EU regime in respect of the fruit and vegetables sector so as to pave the way for a timely application of its findings.

In this context, this public consultation aims at:

- informing and allowing interested parties to submit their views on the problem definition, challenges and   options proposed

- gathering facts and analytical documents to help the impact assessment.
