Basic regulations

• Regulation (EC) 1234/2007 - common market organisation / rules for agricultural products

Since 2008, this regulation includes the rules for the new fruit and vegetable regime, as originally set out in:

• Regulation (EC) 1182/2007 - rules for fruit and vegetable sector

 

Implementing regulation

• Implementing Regulation (EU) 543/2011 - implementing rules for fruit and vegetables

This regulation, in force since 22 June 2011, includes all the implementing rules covering the new fruit and vegetable regime. It incorporates the implementing rules originally set out in Regulation 1580/2007, which had been amended several times, together with several further amendments necessary in the light of experience.
