The 10th edition of 'Bruxelles Champêtre' takes place Sunday 16 September 2012 on the Place des Palais (Parc de Bruxelles) during the car-free day. The theme of this 2012 edition is 'sustainable food'. The Wallonia Young Farmers' Association will organise a 'City Farm', with farm animals, games and didactic animations for children and families as well as tasting of regional products.
The European Commission invites you to discover the diversity of Europe's agriculture and rural areas in the centre of Brussels. A treasure hunt game with 10 questions on the Common Agricultural Policy guides visitors through the different areas in the pavilion. European stakeholder organisations organise together with the European Commission workshops, interactive animations, quizzes, food tastings and cooking demonstrations to show-case the partnership between Europe and farmers. At 'Bruxlles Champêtre', from 9 am to 7 pm.
